Halloween Family Camp at YMCA Camp Erdman, October 26 - 28

Pack up your family and bags and spend your Halloween weekend nestled between the pristine white sand beaches of Mokuleia and the breathtaking Waianae Mountains at YMCA Camp Erdman’s annual Halloween Family Camp, October 26 to 28.
 
Family Camp Programs provides families with the opportunity to reconnect and enjoy each other away from the hustle and bustle of every day distractions.
 
In addition to the usual fun Family Camp Erdman activities of sports, archery, swimming, rope challenge courses, camp fires and a Keiki Club, families can join in a Halloween costume contest, trick or treating, tour a Haunted House and take a Camp Ghost tour.

Whether you have a mango tree in your yard, are thinking of planting one, or just LOVE mangoes, you’ll enjoy this workshop and help Hawaiʻi preserve its mango trees! The session will be led by Mark Suiso, owner and CEO of Makaha Mangoes - home to over 70 mango trees of 12 different varieties in Makaha Valley.

Kaiser Permanente Hawaii Presents "Bodyworks"

Program Designed to Help Improve Family Eating and Activity Habits; Free and Open to the Public

WHAT:  BodyWorks
The BodyWorks program targets parents and caregivers of adolescent boys and girls, ages 9 to 13, and provides them with the tools they need to encourage healthy lifestyles and to improve family eating and activity habits. This free program offers five sessions, with each one including fun and interactive activities. Parents/caregivers enrolled in the program will receive a toolkit to guide the creation of more healthy lifestyles and will attend group meetings to help maintain behavior changes. The toolkit includes a video on healthy shopping and cooking strategies, recipes, food and fitness journals, a weekly meal planner and other support material. Bring the kids and enjoy an afternoon of life-changing activities!
